Kian Klieng Village | Flood

Before the floor got worst, Pastor Sara and his team came together and helped lifted up this man's house. If Sara did not come and help, this man's house would have been inundated.
This photo was taken two weeks ago, right now I was told that the water had risen and this man is looking for a bed frame so that he can sleep.

If you want to find out more about Sara's ministry, go to this website www.servecambodia.net/

The ANZAC Dedication:
For the Fallen
by Laurence Binyon

They shall not grow old,
As we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning,
We will remember them.
We will remember them.

Ruined Piano, York WA

Took us a really long time to find the Ruined Piano, but I'm really glad we got there just in the nick of time.  In fact, there was about half an hr before the sun sets so we had to quickly set ourselves up, the lighting were just perfect!  It's located in Lot 5200 Great Southern Hwy York WA 6302 Australia but be warned, GPS will direct you elsewhere.  The Wambyn Olive Farm owns approx 160 acre of property with hundreds of pianos scattered all over, you can find more info here.  If possible, i would like to go back there again and a 4WD would be a better choice, I was quite thankful that my car survived :)  Anyway, enjoy the pics!

Matilda Bay

Went to Matilda Bay last night to try out my new LEE Filter kit with 3 stops glass.  I got there around 6:30pm and noticed a couple siting on the bench enjoying the sunset and I thought to myself, "aww, that's nice, maybe i should take a photo of them...." as i approached them, i realised that the couple was actually arguing with each other over the adulterous affair the husband was having (!!).  I wasn't sure if the guy was her husband but the lady was yelling and screaming on top of her lungs, but no punches were thrown.  So I kinda did a slight detour and found a good spot to take the photos I wanted, which was around 10 - 15m away from the couple....

Anyway, picture and colour turned out great, but i think there was too much vignetting on the lens, thus the 5 images stitching wasn't that great.  Taken with 3 brackets shots and HDR processed using Photomatix, stitched via Photo Elements and further editing using Adobe Lightroom.  This is my first time using a LEE Filter with ND glass and I am quite impressed - the image turns out sharper and the colour really comes out alive!  Need to practice more with this filter :)

Matthew's 4th Birthday

We celebrated my nephew's 4th Birthday last year back in December.  We had a great time since everyone was able to come together for the celebration, especially my sister who came back from Birmingham :) Matthew is really into Buzz Lightyear!
